If you've managed to create the PDF file but are unable to get Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it... that's another problem :-) Make sure that the entry for Adobe Acrobat on the Launch tab of the Customise window is empty. You don't really need anything in any of the 4 external programs if you've got your Windows File Associations set up properly. What I think the message is referring to is the lack of a program associated with PDF files. If so, then this is really a Windows and not a Legacy problem.
