Have you tried using the Reset Button?

Subject: RE: [LegacyUG] Problem Creating a PDF file

Mike, I've created many PDF files in the past, many still filed under My
Documents. I went to several of those documents and they opened just fine.

Today I followed the steps I normally take; e.g., request a pdf file / give
the file a name, and I'm then prompted as to whether to view the document or
not. I click "yes" but the document is empty.

I also just clicked on my Adobe Acrobat icon on my desktop to see if I could
launch the FGS from there. All documents I've created in Adobe are listed
and the ones I created today still do not open - but all others created
before today do.

Suggestions?

Diane

If you've managed to create the PDF file but are unable to get Adobe Acrobat
Reader to view it... that's another problem :-) Make sure that the entry for
Adobe Acrobat on the Launch tab of the Customise window is empty. You don't
really need anything in any of the 4 external programs if you've got your
Windows File Associations set up properly.

What I think the message is referring to is the lack of a program associated
with PDF files. If so, then this is really a Windows and not a Legacy
problem.
In which case we'll need to know what version of Windows you're using in
order
to tell you what to do, but in essence, you need to make sure that Adobe
Acrobat
Reader has an association for PDF files.
