So I backup my family file and have no idea where it is backing up to. I have Windows 7 64 bit. So I decide it is probably better to export to a gedcom file on a thumb drive, I have done this before. Today I decide I better back up my family tree onto my thumb drive and update the other computers. So here are my issues. I go to the other computer and the family file is not on the computer, legacy is, but not my family tree. Strange!
So am I doing something wrong? Can someone give me ideas on how to properly back up my family tree, make sure it gets on my thumb drive and why when I went on the other computer lagacy opens and can't find the family file?
