You cannot, or at least could not - I have a tree on the Ancestry site but
stopped subscribing over a year ago. If you have previously been adding them
to Ancestry and then creating a GEDCOM for download to Legacy, I would
suggest that you consider adding the details to Legacy. The only way to get
these onto Ancestry is to create a GEDCOM of the full .fdb file and upload
to Ancestry.

I do not think you can just add new records, and I think that you have to
delete the contents of your Ancestry Tree first. This may have changed over
the last year, but hopefully somebody with more up to date knowledge can
help on this point.

Subject: [LegacyUG] selecting a few new people to upload to ancestry

Hi, when I get a new person I am manually inserting them into legacy
and ancestry. I do not want everything up on ancestry. How do I just
select the new people and upload it to my tree on ancestry?
