I would like to give the Access method a try. I have the program, but would 
need instructions, off list probably, if you or anyone else would like to tell

I  know of know no way of doing this without using Access. Personally, I would 
be tempted to leave it as is, and just make the changes when verifying the data 
a introducing a record into my main file.
