I get my marriage records from the Lamar County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office in Purvis, MS so technically you are correct. It is the court not the clerk that is the repository BUT the repository name is for my use only. It isn’t listed that way in my source. My source doesn’t list the repository at all so no problem there. My source looks like this.
