Sandra: Just buy Parallels or VMWare and install Windows 7 and then you can install Legacy under Windows. Another option is to use BootCamp (Free) that comes with the Mac to boot up in Windows. Paralles or VMWare will cost about $50 and a copy of Windows will cost about $100.
Legacy runs just fine on my MacBook Pro using Parallels. It also runs just fine using VMWare. Parallels and VMWare let you run Virtual Machines (Windows) using the Mac operating system. I am surprised you are still running Snow Leopard. OS X Lion is the current release of Mac OS. Apple is going to release OS X Mountain Lion this summer which means you will be 2 generations behind in your operating system. ___ Leon Chapman [email protected] ----- On Tue, Apr 24, 2012 at 8:26 PM, Sandra Crashley <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi - I recently read a comment on "Legacy Family Tree update available > (7.4.0.45)" > “For those of you that prefer to use Imac ... there is now some good news. > This version has been successfully loaded onto an Imac running Snow Leopard > OS 10.6 using the Wine windows emulator version 1.1.44.
