Using Legacy on an Imac with Snow LeopardSandra,

That is a very old version of Legacy – we are now on 7.7.0.185, and they are
very different – especially regarding sources.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Using Legacy on an Imac with Snow Leopard

Hi - I recently read a comment on "Legacy Family Tree update available
(7.4.0.45)"
“For those of you that prefer to use Imac ... there is now some good news.
This version has been successfully loaded onto an Imac running Snow Leopard
OS 10.6 using the Wine windows emulator version 1.1.44. It appears to work
perfectly. The only requirement needed is to change the default path for
the web browser to look for internet explorer within the Wine set up."
I have an Imac with Snow Leopard
My questions - what is Wine windows emulator version 1.1.44
AND HOW DO I change the default path for
the web browser to look for internet explorer within the Wine set up."
I need step by step instructions please because I want to get back to using
Legacy again
and am willing to buy the Legacy update if it will genuinely work on my Imac.
Regards Sandra
