I don't remember e actly, but a few years ago I discovered there are two settings when adding new people. One would update immediately which drove me crazy while keypunching 200 people. The other was/is to wait to reindex until restart or turn off. I forgot where they were, but awareness of the difference may avoid insanity! Rich in LA CA

Click in the RIN box and then click back in the Surname box.
