I do not understand exactly what you mean. However, I suspect that you may have 
someone incorrectly linked, eg. a child married to  a parent/grandparent, or 
some other relative, maybe  two links etc. etc.. This would be somewhere around 
where the loop starts, so I would start to look at those individuals.
