I don't have any problems. I merely responded to the questions that were
raised regarding Windows Explorer. I have been computer savvy (sort of for
an 80-year-old) for about 14 years and, during that time, have never come
across anybody talking about uninstalling of applications and deleting of
files by making reference to Windows Explorer. Frankly, I don't know what
Windows Explorer refers to, where it is located, and what it does (although
I have just now read up on it), In my house, applications are uninstalled
via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Files are removed by going to the
(C:) registry or directory and deleting what needs to be done. There is no
mention anywhere of Windows Explorer. Can somebody please explain to me
where this descriptive (and to me convoluting) Windows Explorer concept
comes from and fits in? I am always eager to learn.

I have installed and uninstalled Legacy numerous times without any problems
and loss of information. However, I am still wondering why Legacy is
installed in (C:) is not in Program Files where it should belong. A good
many problems are originating right here due to this dysfunctionality.

When you uninstall Legacy, the main Legacy folder remains to preserve
your Family Files as well as anything else you've changed or added to
that folder - for example, when you change settings, those are in the
.usr files and are not removed by the uninstall. If you've saved a
Color Scheme, that wont' be removed. Nor are any reports, etc that you
have saved to that folder.

Therefore, you need to use Windows Explorer to delete certain files
which remain behind after the uninstall. These files could be part of
the problem you're having.

If you don't know how to do this, you should either find someone to
help you or learn how to do this basic function in Windows. There's a
great website with WIndows tutorials at
http://www.jegsworks.com/Lessons/win/index.html

I sure hope this uninstaller doesn't remove any left-over program
folders because then you'll lose all your data and anything else
you've stored in the c:\Legacy folder. Just to to Start > Legacy >
Uninstall Legacy to uninstall the program.

Sherry
