If I understood Charani's original problem she has data differences
between the two copies of her file. If she loads one of them up to
dropbox and syncs it with the other she will end up with only one copy
of her file and will have lost the data differences because the copy on
one computer will be overwritten.

Your suggestion will only work AFTER she has sorted out the data
differences and has one clean copy of her file that she wants kept
up-to-date on both machines to avoid these data differences in the future.
