You could add the URL to the Text or Comments field.  Or even tack it
(in brackets) onto the information in the Item of Interest or Credit
Line fields.

If you create a new Master Source with a different template you will
need to enter all the Source Details again.  If you EDIT the existing
Master Source you can opt to make the change to all existing uses of
that Source.

I think you will find that the word Birth only actually appears at the
top of the screen where you enter the Master Source information.  It
won't appear anywhere in the citation unless you enter it in a field
somewhere.  So you could use that Template as a generic Vital Event
template to cover Births, Marriages and Deaths if you so wanted.

You can use the Source Clipboard to copy complete citations to any
number of Events.  If there are only small changes in the Source Details
between one Event and the next it is usually quicker to use the Source
Clipboard and then edit the Details than it is to start from scratch.
