You can change the default settings when you are in Family View. Right click on one of the settings, like Born. A Customize Display page pops up on which you can change any or all of them. Be careful changing though; your change change what is displayed for everyone in your file.
CEFrom: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [LegacyUG] Age on the family view? Date: Mon, 9 Jul 2012 12:09:59 -0700 Michele ... Your directions are fine, but how do you input information into your preferred settings? The 4 default settings on the Individual's Information page (Born, Bapt, Died, Buried) cannot be changed, thus there is no way to input anything different except Age (which is calculated by Legacy). How/where would you input information into all the entries from the Customize Family View Display? Did anyone give the directions to display the age on the family view? I read the emails but I might have missed it. All you do is… With the Family View on your screen, RIGHT click the labels on the left side of the data of either person on the screen (born, died, whatever is there). The Customize Display box will pop up. Here is where you can tell Legacy what you want to show on the family view. You can have 5 things. I have BORN, DIED, BURIED, CEMETERY, AGE Michele Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
