Everything I have will go onto its own site as far as the parish of Walton is concerned because that's what I have permission for: that is all the parish registers and Bishop's Transcripts from c1607 to 1900, all the census returns from 1841 to 1911 which is the minimum an OPC will do. I also have the electoral rolls from 1832 to 1900 plus a variety of odds and ends. Anything post 1900 is on my computer. The other parishes in my sig file will also go on the same site plus the parish registers will also be included in FreeREG, FamilySearch and the OPC Project site. Parts of all five parishes are already available online on FreeREG and the OPC Project site but aren't my work! As, when and if, Google pick up on the site, the pages will be cached there and the WayBack Machine will pick up the pages too. Everything will be a transcript and as such it will need to be checked (cos I ain't perfect <G>) against the original sources but they will all be documented and thus checkable. My will states that copies of everything is to be lodged with the Society of Genealogists and with the LDS. One way or another, nothing will be lost but it might take a bit of hunting out! :)) -- Charani (UK) OPC for Walton, Ashcott, Shapwick, Greinton and Clutton, SOM http://wsom-opc.org.uk Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
