I have parish records dated Feb 30, 1846. The next few were dated Mar 1, so I can not ?correct? this error, but I put 'Feb 30, 1846' so it is referenced by notes.

Since that is an invalid date, it is not being sorted or shown correctly. Change it to 28 Feb 1890 (with a possible explanation for doing so) and then see if things shake out as they should.
