Whenever I close Legacy I hit the backup button and make a zip folder.
If the button is not there for you, right-click on the toolbar and drag
it there.

I regularly back up my entire Legacy installation folder, like several
times a day. This is what's called a Syncback 'profile'. Legacy on my PC
going to 'Legacy' on an external hard-drive. One click, Syncback
searches for the changes between the two locations and takes care of it.

You could set this up to work on flash-drives as well. Please do SOMETHING.
