Whenever I close Legacy I hit the backup button and make a zip folder. If the button is not there for you, right-click on the toolbar and drag it there.
I regularly back up my entire Legacy installation folder, like several times a day. This is what's called a Syncback 'profile'. Legacy on my PC going to 'Legacy' on an external hard-drive. One click, Syncback searches for the changes between the two locations and takes care of it. You could set this up to work on flash-drives as well. Please do SOMETHING. --- JL Beeken JLog - simple computer technology for genealogists http://www.jgen.ws/jlog/ On 8/11/2012 6:33 PM, MJ SA wrote: > I have 2 thumb drives, a desktop (Windows XP) and a laptop (Windows 7) > I am a total scatter brain, or do they call that ADD now?
