I spent a lot of time researching spelling variants and went with what showed on official state and/or county websites when there was a conflict in the other sources I used.
LaSalle is what shows on the county website. Of course, you'll probably find a lot of variations in documentation. It's best to enter locations as they show in the documentation, but that doesn't always match with the *official* spellings as shown in USA County Verifier.
