I just submitted a suggestion about this comparison problem and used your 
example.  I have likewise had many possible duplicates presented by the program 
which can not possibly be the same person.  The basic principle is that for two 
individuals to be considered the same person, they should at least have lived 
during the same time frame.  Hope the programmers might tweak this logic and 
provide a "life-span must intersect" option.
