Wes, I have to say from the start that I do not place pictures in Legacy but you may be able to use my method in this one example. Use, as you already suggested the from to date for the Occupation. Use one source and include in the source detail the description and whereabouts in your filing system the pictures are stored. i.e. Source describes where you aquired the pictures and detail where the images are stored. My gg-grandfather established a business in 1908. There is an entry in the City Directory. So far, so good - 1 event. However, he is in the same business at the same location for 6 more years. In 1914, he changes the business from a livery stable to a garage and begins selling automobiles. This continue for another 40 years. I have a city directory entry scanned and sourced for each of the years. I don't think I should put an Occupation event for each of the years. Should I use 2 events with a span in each date field and a Description that states "He was a ***** operator from Date1 to Date2". The only issue I see with that is I do not see a method to attach more than 1 picture to the Source Detail. Is there a way to do that? Does anyone have another idea for the best way to show this in Legacy?
