With respect, I did not write the piece of prose which you quote. It is, of course, possible that the source was in an email on which I commented, although I did not comment on that particular piece. Whilst I tend to agree with the first paragraph of the 'quote', I do not consider the second to be accurate at all, particularly since I am well aware that Windows generally intends for documents to be saved/loaded to/from a folder of the user's choosing.
Before this comment is picked up by someone unaware of the structure of Legacy, I would point out that I am, of course, excluding databases, where a user's choice would be somewhat disastrous.
