Paula,

I believe the answer to your last question is No. AFAIK, the Legacy multimedia
backup includes only images linked in Legacy (wherever they are), not what is
in the Legacy Pictures (or any other specific) folder.

I don’t use it for that reason. I have many genealogy multimedia files, and
only a portion of them are linked in Legacy. Therefore, the Legacy multimedia
backup, in my view, is only a partial backup. I backup all my multimedia,
including non genealogy files, in a separate process totally outside of Legacy.

One last question: If I have moved a census image into the Pictures folder,
but I'm lagging behind at getting things (events, sources, citations) entered
into Legacy, will that census image be included in my "end-of-day" back-up?

Thanks, all!!!
