Pat,

If you're on dial-up it could take a long time to download. We
recommend that rather installing from the Legacy Home tab, that you
download the full setup from our website www.LegacyFamilyTree.com >
Download > Download Update.

If you have the Deluxe, you shouldn't be asked for the password. Go to
Help > General Information and make a note of the password. Close
Legacy and go to the C:\Legacy folder on your hard drive. Delete the
Legacy7.LIC file (make sure you get the LIC file - there are several
named "Legacy7"). Then go back into Legacy and go to Help > Unlock
Legacy Deluxe and unlock the Deluxe features again.

Also, if the servers are really busy from the update, the download
could be slower. Or it could be something at your end. Hard to tell.

Sincerely,
Sherry
