Jane, >From what you have written I do not really know what you are trying to do, or at least the method by which you intend to achieve your end.
So I will content myself with the sorting of the Master Locations List. Go to: View>Master Lists>Locations, check the box next to the Sort Button, then click the button, you are then given the option to sort as you wish - don't forget to change it back, if necessary. I click on "search" and get "Find". I click on that but I do not get a box in which to enter what I am searching for. I just downloaded the latest version. I am looking for any person who has any entry for "Clay County, IL". My Master Location list finds some, but I must have messed up entering the locations because I cannot get it to sort by "State". When I ask it to do so, it still is sorted by County name. I feel like I started with Legacy yesterday, instead of year ago.
