The only file that matter are the basic FDB files... those without any adornments (tilde and extra alpha characters) in their names. Without doing any investigation, I think I an confidently state that the strange files that you're seeing are temporary files and possibly artefacts of previous crashes or bad machine shutdowns (power failures). Either that or you have a very weird way of naming your backups.
