Hello again

That works beautifully. However I am posting the search string again without
the hyperlink as the underscores were not clearly stated for other readers of
this posting (all on one line):

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/search/all-records/results?forename=elizabeth&surname=reynolds&fromYear=1731&toYear=1807&Region=UK&_includeSurnameVariants=on&_includeForenameVariants=on&Search=Search

Thanks once again,

Jemima

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] FindMyPast Customised Search URL please

The search string I see is (all on one line in the event posting breaks it
apart):

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/search/all-records/results?forename=John&surname=Smith&fromYear=1900&toYear=1960&Region=UK&_includeSurnameVariants=on&_includeForenameVariants=on&Search=Search

So, you would need to use UK.

Looking at the markup, the quoted strings beside value="..." are the other
options you could try as well...
<option value="UK">Britain</option>
<option value="United States,Australasia,Ireland">All (excluding
Britain)</option> <option value="United States">United States</option> <option
value="Australasia">Australia / New Zealand</option> <option
value="Ireland">Ireland</option>
