Like "Refresh" in other contexts within computing, it causes the screen
to be "re-written" using the latest information which might have become
available since that screen was created.  In the context of the Events
screen, if the Sentence recorded at the foot of the screen doesn't
reflect any changes you have made to the data, clicking on Refresh
Sentence will cause it to do so.

Use the Sentence Override tab on the Events screen.  I find it helps to
go to "Edit Sentence" first and copy it, then go into the Override
screen, paste the Sentence and amend it.  Saves you having to type the
whole thing.
