My earliest documented ancestor is found in VA about 1720, He may be the
Immigrant that sailed the Atlantic.
I Upgraded from 5.0 to 7.5 recently, so I put the feature, Research
Guidance to use. Soon a response came back, "Can not determine which vessel he
arrived on, but likely he will be found on the Registration Log of the 'We
Packem Inn' (now Nights Inn) at Charles City VA". Wish it were that easy!
Official Ships Passenger Lists were required after 1850, but before then is
pretty sketchy. Have any LUGgers had success searching with a particular
website(s). Doyce PS: The RG feature did lead me to new info on
more recent ancestors.
