You shouldn't need the password to update from the Legacy Home tab if you have the Deluxe Edition.
Go to Help > General Information and make a note of your customer number (Do *not* post to the list!) Close Legacy and go to the c:\Legacy folder on your hard drive. Delete the Legacy7.LIC file (only that one) and then go back into Legacy and go to Help > Unlock Legacy Deluxe to unlock the Deluxe features again. You shouldn't need the password after doing this.
