My Legacy file is in English (American) and I have had the good fortune to be working with several people in Germany (perhaps relatives, not yet sure). I know there is a German edition of Legacy. My questions are:
1) Do I export my file to his German Legacy via "Export to a Legacy file" or a GEDCOM? 2) Are there any problems and/or workarounds to be expected? 3) My Legacy is the paid version, can it be opened in the free version? My hope/expectation is he will upgrade but I will encourage trying the free version first. We are far from knowledgeable about each others language! Thanx for the help.
