It's no secret that the programmers have been working on v8 for a long time now. It doesn't take long after a software version is released that programmers start working on the next one (just about all software companies work that way)
Michele posted the original question: "Will we be eligible for a free upgrade to version 8 or will there be a discount for current Legacy users?" I was just replying to the question, indicating what had been done in the past. There is no release date for v8 at this time. Nor have I heard anything about prices or how upgrades will be handled.
