Don,
The only way that I know of would be to search the GEDCOM file for .pdf and
then make a note of them or copy and paste them into another document. Also go
to Options>Customize>Locations tab and click on “View Current List of
Multimedia Locations...” and you can print out a list of locations but not the
actual file names.

Subject: [LegacyUG] GEDCOM 5.5 Import problems with media file links

I have imported a Family Tree Maker 2012 file (via GEDCOM 5.5) into Legacy 7.5.
I have an issue with the media file links that came in. I have several PDF
files linked to both sources and people. The links came into Legacy BUT they
are linked as Pictures instead of Files. When I click on the image nothing
will open up. I think I will need to manually remove the link as a Picture and
relink it as a File. The problem is I cannot get a list of the PDF file links
that were imported. So I have no way of knowing who/what to work on. There
were no error messages and when I run a test for all multimedia paths
everything is showing OK. I have ran the View > Scrapbook to print the
multimedia list. The only PDF files shown on this list are the ones that were
loaded as Files. It is like the PDF files that were linked as Pictures do not
exist.

How can I produce a list of these PDF files in order to manually fix the type
of links?

Thanks
Don Varner
