Emily,
Got to the Reports and goto the Books and Other tab. Choose Name Tags. Under
the Label Type and Label products=Avery USA standard scroll down to 8366 -
File Folder. on the What to Print Tab click on Customize. On the Customize
Display screen click on the button in the middle of the Field name to choose
the field you want to put in the line. My suggestions for a file folder
label would be:
first row Surname, Given names
2nd row Marriage: Referred, Spouse Name (there are several options here
depending on how many marriages a person had)
3rd row Spouse's MRIN's
and blank all the rest of the rows.

you can play around with these to see what you want.
Russ

Subject: [LegacyUG] Any way to use Legacy to generate file labels for
couples?

Is there any way to use Legacy to generate file labels for manila folders
when one is filing information by couple? E.g. with the name of the
husband, name of the wife, and either MRIN or user IDs?

Thanks,

Emily
