I too have felt the need for an Undo/Redo – at least for one transaction. It’s the oops factor. When I was in S/W development, we called the database implementation of that a 2-phase commit. I don’t know if MS Access and Legacy is capable. Regarding your items 7 and 8: I don’t see much difference between this and the current scheme of doing backups at the end of each session. So, if you end a session and decide you had made a mess, just restore the previous session’s backup. Likewise, there is no need to make a backup at the start of a session, as it was already done at the end of the last session (depending on how you set your options). Implementing a massive undo at the end of a session would be very complicated and error prone.
