I have a similar situation in that an individual in my file was a Vicar and performed the marriage and the baptism of two of his relatives who are also in my file. For the bride and baby concerned I have mentioned it in the Notes but for the Vicar I have two Sacrament (1) Events. I think Sacrament is an Event I created myself, rather than a Legacy default one. My Sentences read: Sacrament: on 13 May 1845 he conducted the Baptism of his wife's niece, Susan Ann Nosworthy at St James's Church, Holloway, Middlesex, England and Sacrament: on 13 May 1845 he conducted the Marriage William Nosworthy & Susan Brind, his wife's sister, at Holy Trinity Church, Islington, Middlesex, England > Also, I have a list of about 25 other marriages that he performed. If it was me, I'd use the same Sacrament Event and where I'd normally put the couple's names in the Desc field I'd put something like "several Marriages" and then, as you say, record the details in Notes. (1) If you're not happy with the word Sacrament you could use Celebrant. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
