You can show at a glance if there are souces for the "standard events" by making the colour of the field label change when there is a source present. Options > Customise > Colours > Click here to change the user interface colours > Contents > select your colour > Close > Save This will change both the "Contents" and the "Contents Back" buttons in that row of "Text Colours" buttons, so don't panic when you notice that. Now, when you open the Individual's Information window (ie edit any person) you'll see the labels (Born, Died, etc) are the colour you set IF there is a source applied to that field.
