Bernie,

The standard events show the church or cemetery name and address in the
standard event's Address field.

Look to the right of the birth, baptism, death or burial entry for the plus
sign. Click on the plus sign and you have three options to chose from. The
first of the three is the address. Select that one and a window opens with
places/fields for the name of the church or building, street address, city,
state, country, phone number, email address and web address.

If you have placed a church or cemetery into these fields before for another
person then instead of typing the info in again, then while in this window
simply click on the button labeled "address list" and make a selection.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Events description

I noticed today that there is an interesting difference between the standard
events (birth,Christening, marriage, death and burial) and the added events.
The added events have a description field that is missing from the standards.
With added events, for example, I can enter a confirmation event with the date,
place and with the description I can enter the church name.
This way I get a statement (amended) that would read that "Susie Q was
confirmed at XY church on Jan 1, 1901 in Such, Country".
So why do the standard events not have a description field so that one could
get "Susie Q was baptised at XY Church on Jan 1, 1901 in Such, Country" or
"John Q buried in MM graveyard on Jan 1 1901 in Such, Country" or " John Q and
Susie Q were married in XY Church on Jan 1,
1901 in Such, Country"? Or am I missing something altogether?

At the same time I noticed that the added event has two small columns of which
one indicates that there is a source given. This would be nice to see beside
the standard events as well. I would also envision that the source could be
noted as an S1, S2, S3 or S4 indicating the level of the source as input on the
source citation.
