Jennifer

Here's how I set up census citations for US censuses using basic sources. I
set it up this way to get as close to Evidence Explained as I can. The
Source Detail field is somewhat limited in the number of characters it
holds, so I put the last part in the Source Comments field, and the source
citation comes out looking like the following.

1901 England Census, digital images, St Botolph Without Aldgate,
St Botolph, London, Enumeration District 3, p. 1, household 1, Woof Isaacs
household; *Ancestry.com* (www.ancestry.com : accessed 19 July 2013);
citing PRO RG 13/262, folio 46.

To get your citation to look like this using basic sources:

Master Source title:
1901 England Census, digital images

 Source Detail:
St Botolph Without Aldgate, St Botolph, London, Enumeration District 3, p.
1, household 1, Woof Isaacs household; *Ancestry.com* (www.ancestry.com :
accessed 19 July 2013)

Master Source comments:
; citing PRO RG 13/262, folio 46.

Hope this helps,
Mary
