Hello folks,
I am a new Legacy User and can use some guidance in setting up a particular source. I visited a cousin on the weekend and she told me her father’s first and given name. At this point, the source for that would be the conversation that I had with her. I’ve looked at the categories in SourceWriter and didn’t see anything that exactly captured this source as I did not record the conversation and it’s not a transcription (except if I wrote it down and then I guess it would be a transcription of my own notes). Can anyone make suggestions on how to handle this? Also, is the Source Clipboard only available at the time the Source Detail is entered? For example, if I have an obituary and I’m entering all of the names, places etc and I don’t finish but continue on the next session, am I able to go back to one of the previous names/details and copy the source detail and paste into a new person or event. Or can I only copy the master source and have to enter the detail again?
