Mike,

I am actually surprised that you can add any individuals at all. Family Search
'deactivated' the old interface API to newFamilySearch on June 30, and that's
the API that Legacy is still using to the best of my knowledge. (I think the
API still 'works' in the sense that you can view, and maybe even download, data
but I don't think it's possible to upload anything.)

Family Search has moved on to Family Tree, replacing newFamilySearch. Legacy
announced mid-June that they had been certified to use the new interface, and
that there would be an update by the end of June. We are still waiting.

Subject: [LegacyUG] FamilySearch Problem

Downloaded and installed the latest edition of Legacy and have immediately
tripped over a problem in the FamilySearch interface.

I have individuals for whom no records exist within FamilySearch. The program
correctly identifies that there are no matches for these individuals. When I
try to add the Legacy individual to FamilySearch, nothing happens. The
individual does not get added. This does not happen with all such individuals.
Some get added and some don't.

I see the same thing happening in a case where there are possible matches, none
of whom match my individual. I still can't add the new individual to
FamilySearch.
