I can see now that if I am trying to bring a person across, say a child that I might have missing then the source options are not there. However, if I do any date based item (marriage, birth or death) then that works as does the name of the actual person I am working on??
Actually I just found an exception to the above. I have a person with the red link icon next to them (ie I haven't merged everyone in family search but I linked them) and if I press the arrow on the person on the family search side then I do see the source options. So in summary if there is a person with a white or blue link icon I don't get the options but if it is the red icon I do!! As for your question B I am just clicking on the little arrow on the family search side Cheers, Gavin... -----Original Message----- From: Brian/Support [mailto:br...@legacyfamilytree.com] Sent: Thursday, August 22, 2013 11:24 PM To: LegacyUserGroup@LegacyUsers.com Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Family Search Family Tree Interface Maybe you are bringing in Info from FT where Legacy does not allow a source to be assigned. Since you cannot link a source to everything maybe LFT is smart enough to know you cannot link a source to that data in Legacy so it is not going to create a citation. Make a note next time this happens of: a. What data you were copying from FT b. Where and how you were adding it to Legacy.
