Having created your list, in Name List select Print, choose the fields you want to display, then select "CSV file" in the bottom right-hand corner. The Printer button now becomes a Create button. Click it! Choose where to save the file and name it. Open Excel and open the file in the usual way EXCEPT that you select "Text Files (*.prn, *.txt, *.csv)" on the screen where you select the file to open. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
