I am new to Legacy and have questions on RINs and MRINs.
If I understand correctly an RIN is a Record Number that is automatically
assigned.
So if the oldest male ancestor entered in Legacy is number 1, and his wife
is number 2, what is the numbering for their children and their spouses
etc. Even if the system is automatic I would like to have an understanding
once a family starts to branch out.
Also I am unclear what an MRIN is.
Thank all in advance for help on these beginner questions.
