Thanks, Sherry. As I submitted earlier, the problem was solved by simply clearing the clipboard. Prior to that doing file maintenance twice didn't solve the problem. I also tried importing an earlier backup from before the error occurred and that didn't work. But clearing the clipboard did . Thanks for responding.
