Roxanne,
I use it to record the date that I added the new source. Many people just
leave it blank. I am a little OCD with fill-in-the-blank forms so I like to
fill it out :) I like knowing when I added the sources.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Recorded Date?

Dear Group;

I realize after doing research for decades that I am not at all certain what
"recorded date" means. In this case, I am referring to when I am adding master
sources to my files. At the bottom of the window, there is a field for the
"recorded date."

Does this mean the date on which I am adding the source? Or the date of the
publication/webpage/copyright? Or something altogether different?

Embarrassed,
Roxanne Wolfe
