Kim, Let's say the mother is wrong, in the Family View right click on her name and select Unlink > From Husband. To link to the correct mother just click in the blank wife space and either add a new person or link to an existing person. You can then go back and link your unattached wife to the correct husband.
If you have attached children to the wrong parents, let's say you have them linked to a man's second marriage when they really need to be linked to his first marriage, unlink the children by right clicking them one at a time and select Unlink from Parents. Now navigate to the correct set of parents (in this case the same man's first marriage) and click a blank space in the children's list and select Link to an Existing Son/Daughter. Question is I have children in a certain family but the father or mother is wrong. I need to change parents as one parent has remarried and I've put them in the wrong parentage. Had a few and I ended up deleting them then entering them again, thats a painfull way of doing it. I want to do this in Legacy. Can someone help? thanks in advance.
