I have been there.

If you look at the new database from Windows Explorer> Properties and look
for the file Date Created. That should match up with when you think this
started.

Then Open your database in Legacy and run a search
Find>Detailed Search>
Search for >Indivudual > Modified dated > (enter "Aft" the day before your
"Date Created") ( so if it was created on 11/2/2013 Then use after 01 Nov
2013)

Then tag all the persons in the search results.

Create a gedcom export containing all the persons tagged.

Any Sources etc should automatically be included. But I always double check
after importing the resulting gedcom into the correct database.
