I'm not an expert at web sites, more of a slightly-experienced novice,
but that sounds like something at your host rather than something
created by Legacy. None of the web sites I've generated in the past
with Legacy contain a robots.txt file, but it's been a while since I did
this, and none of them are online.

Have you examined the contents of your web site at the host (ISP) ?

How are you uploading pages to your site - are you using an FTP
program? If you are, I would have thought that you'd be able to see all
files at your site there, and be able to delete the robots.txt file if
it is there.

This might be a conversation you need to have with the host of your site.

A .txt file is a plain text file, once located there should be no
problems removing it, assuming it isn't something your host requires you
to have.

Hope this helps. :-)

Kind Regards,
Wendy

PS Did you know that there is a mailing list especially for web
sites/pages generated using Legacy? It was started by Ron Ferguson who
posts here frequently. It's at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/WUL/
