Ron,

Ron, I tend to agree with your analysis.
Google has given me a calendar open
to such issues. I shouldn't have trusted
Google to know what I want. How would
Google know that the webinars were
blocking out my doctor appointments.

I do hope that Kathy's instructions
work for me. Otherwise I'll need to
install another PIM which includes
a calendar. I'll try a 2nd Google
calendar first and see if webinars
are in it also.

Hold everything!! I think I've found my
solution. In the column to the left of my
calendar is "Other calendars". Opening
"Other Calendars" I find the option
to select/deselect "Legacy Family Tree".
I deselected it and the webinars disappeared,
both today's and in following month's
calendars.

Part solution found, part control re-assumed.
Still can't rid the "Legacy Family Tree" entry
from this area Google calendar. But now
webinar entries do not interfere with the
entries I make, such as doctor appointments
and that is what is important to me.

Thanks Ron and Kathy for your input.

Moore's law - The number of transistors on integrated
circuits doubles approximately every two years.
This law has been updated in 2010 to "every 3 years".
Technology in this area seems to be slowing down!!
