Hi Paul, You CAN do something about the Ribbon. There's a little arrow on the right which minimises the ribbon. Click on the a Ribbon header and the Ribbon pops up until you've chosen the function you want and then disappears again.
You can also customise the Quick Access Toolbar top left. You do this by clicking on the Design on the right of the Ribbon, then Toolbar. You may need to close and re-open Legacy to see your selections. There's a Maximum of 10 icons that can permanently be placed on the Quick Access Toolbar. Other icons can be added for the session by right clicking on them in a Ribbon and choosing to add to the Quick Access Toolbar. You may want to increase your minimum font. Some of the issues where it appears to us there's more room for things relate to Legacy being international and some languages requiring more room. Legacy 8 does not always resize correctly when you change window size. If this happens for you, just resize it again slightly and things should pop back to normal for that window size.
